HaleyPet Resort ManagerI have been with VCA Durant Road since September 2019. I've been around animals my whole life and have owned/grew up with anything from dogs, cats, chickens, a snake, a turtle, hermit crabs, a mouse, various fish, and rabbits, and I would love to own other species in the future. Animals are my passion and I decided to go to school to learn even more about them. I obtained my B.S. in Animal Science from my dream school NC State University. I worked with many animals during my time there, especially dairy cows. Currently figuring out how I can use my education and passion to find the right career path, but in the meantime I'm enjoying surrounding myself with dogs and cats on a daily basis whether at work or through petsitting.
My current pets include Rezzy, a domestic shorthair found as a stray kitten, Raina and Rookie, both miniature dachshund puppies, and Muscadine, a California kingsnake. A fun fact about me is that I was born in Guatemala City and was adopted which lead to me growing up in a small town in eastern NC with a population of 200! AlondraPet Resort AssistantI’ve been working here since December 2021, and I've worked at two different doggie daycares/boarding facilities in the past. I love working here and getting to build relationships with all the dogs and cats that come to us as well as their owners! I’ve had animals my whole life growing up, and I plan on becoming a veterinarian one day! I have four dogs in my life that I love dearly: Luna, a toy Australian Shepherd, Azura, a miniature Australian Shepherd, Chloe, a Chihuahua mix, and Rambo, a Husky/German Shepherd mix. Luna and Azura can be found playing in daycare and they love making friends here in our Pet Resort!

LoganPet Resort AssistantI have worked at VCA Durant Road since May 2022. I recently graduated from NC State University with a degree in Agribusiness Management, and am happy to join VCA Durant Road full-time as I love working in the animal industry. I have grown up with many animals and love them lots. I recently adopted a little kitty named Bleu who was found in a barn. Growing up I rode horses and used to compete, and I still like to keep my connection to horses by helping out at a local barn during my free time.
Pet Resort AssistantI have worked for VCA Durant since April of 2023. I have a cat named Sophie Biscuits and just welcomed a mini-poodle puppy named Rose into the family. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and horses and love being around them. I love to play video games in my free time and read books. A fun fact about me is that I have two different colored eyes and taught myself how to play the piano.
MadisonPet Resort AssistantI have been working in the Pet Resort at VCA Durant Road since April of 2023. I grew up around animals, mainly dogs but also fish, frogs, a bird, and a hedgehog. I currently have three dogs: Hopper, Molly, and Fry; and a Bengal cat named Ruth. In my free time, I like play video games and read. A fun fact about me is that I've been playing piano for 15 years! My dog Fry is quite the singer and loves to join in!
